The 2012 Global EPC Summit: A Thought Leadership Event

From Sept. 10-11, more than 100 key industry players representing more than 60 companies from 23 countries attended GE’s annual Global EPC Summit in London, ready to participate in a comprehensive mix of thought leadership presentations, forums, and panel discussions. GE’s objective: to set the stage for industry decision-makers to engage in discussions on strategies that will shape the global energy sector for years to come.

Each year, GE’s Global EPC Summit serves as a key event, strengthening and building our relationships with our collaborative affiliates. One of the goals of this year’s summit was to demonstrate that we are committed to success for all parties involved. Throughout the summit, we highlighted several great customer success stories. GE’s Engineering, Construction, and Procurement (EPC) organization has, in its lifetime, grown from a small group to a very dynamic and influential part of the business. Long-term collaborations with third parties such as local EPC companies are critical to GE’s strategy as we expand globally. A key approach to winning opportunities is to engage early in the sales process and in emerging markets as they develop.
